Gardai have launched a missing persons appeal for a 65-year-old Dublin man last seen at around 3pm on New Year’s Eve.
Patrick Tiernan has been reported missing from his home in Clonsilla in west Dublin. He was last seen in Clonsilla shortly after 3pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Patrick is described as being approximately 6 foot 3 inches tall with a medium build, grey hair, grey facial hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo on his left forearm.
When last seen Patrick was wearing a khaki green puffer jacket and black jeans. “Gardaí and Patrick’s family are concerned for his well-being,” a spokesperson added.
“Anyone with information on Patrick’s whereabouts is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
