Full line-up announced for East Yorkshire film festival

More details have been announced for the upcoming Glowflare Short Film Festival coming to Beverley in the New Year.

Founded by Hull-born Daniel Smales, he hopes that the festival can help promote creativity and innovation to independent filmmakers.

Festival director Daniel brings in a wide range of experience and passion for filmmaking. Daniel’s journey started with a background in musical theatre, but his true love was always acting and filmmaking. Having worked in different festivals, including the Romford Horror Festival and the East London LGBTQ+ Film Festival, shows that he is always keen to promote diverse storytelling.

The inaugural festival will be hosted by Parkways cinema in Beverley on January 25, 2025, featuring film screenings, live Q&A sessions, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and access to Parkway Cinema’s Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound and state-of-the-art screening facilities.
