A new 14 hour yellow wind warning has been issued for Coventry and Warwickshire. The Met Office has said that there will be a period of ‘strong winds’ tomorrow which may lead to some disruption.
It comes into force at 12.15am tomorrow morning (January 1) and lasts until 3pm in the afternoon. The recently issued warning comes after CoventryLive warned wind speeds could hit 49mph tomorrow morning.
The local online forecast predicts ‘inland gales’ will be fiercest in the early hours of New Year’s Day, remaining at 47mph at around 6am. The wind speed will then drop to 44mph at 7am, falling to the mid 30s by lunchtime.
