Former Hull FC full-back Jack Walker holds ‘meeting’ with potential new club

Jack Walker has suggested that he could have a new club by the end of the week. The former Hull FC full-back has been searching for his next step following his release from the Black and Whites last November, with the 25-year-old now closing in on a potential outlet.

Training on his own this pre-season, Walker has kept himself going throughout the winter months, documenting his training progress on social media, namely TikTok. He has previously outlined his Hull exit and his search for a new club, even declaring that he might have to ‘wait for injury’ to occur before a club took a chance on him.

However, that search could now be coming to an end at the end of this week, with the player, who has increased his playing weight in a bid to help stay fit, revealing that he has held a ‘meeting’ with a potential club. Hull Live understands that club is a League 1 club with talks ongoing.

Posting on his socials, Walker said: “I just finished with them. It went well actually, so I potentially might have a club. I’m buzzing about that. I will know by the end of the week.”

Walker became Super League’s youngest-ever Grand Final winner in 2017 with Leeds Rhinos. He has spent two spells at Hull FC, and has also played for both Bradford Bulls and Hull KR.
