Dean Andrews has given fans a career update after his shock Emmerdale exit.
In a shocking Christmas Day twist, character Will died of a heart attack after rowing with Kim. Dean Andrews, 61, who played Will Taylor in Emmerdale, has told Emmerdale fans of his intentions after exiting the ITV soap.
In an Instagram video, Dean said he had a ‘great time’ during his five-and-a-half year spell on Emmerdale. He also thanked viewers and fans for their support.
Dean also offered a hint of what’s to come – dismissing retirement rumours. Dean said: “We are looking forward to 2025.
“We are looking forward to some time off and maybe some work. So, hopefully you’ll see me on the small screen or the big screen or just hear my voice on a nice documentary or one or two adverts bugging your life out on the radio.”

One thing that Dean’s Emmerdale exit has brought him is a little time to relax. He said: “I’m also very pleased to have some free time with my family and a little free time in my later years – shall we say.”
