Emmerdale Kim Tate is “playing” Dawn Taylor, according to soap fans.
Soap legend Kim (Claire King) has had a difficult few months recently. Last year, she found out husband Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) cheated on her, and in typical Kim fashion, she got her revenge.
Will was blackmailed by a mystery person, who was later revealed to be Kim. Will and Kim then went to war, with Kim adamant he wasn’t going to get his hands on her fortune.
The pair eventually rekindled things and planned to renew their vows on Christmas Day. However, Kim had no idea that Will was working with her former financial advisor Peter (David Michaels), in a bid to bring her down.

What’s more, it was confirmed that Peter was also employed by a mysterious individual, later revealed to be Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) – hell-bent on getting revenge on Kim Tate.
And on Christmas Day, things took a seriously dramatic turn when Joe showed up at Home Farm – leaving both Kim and Will stunned. Joe revealed all about the plan to Kim – but Will ended up having a heart attack and died.
Dawn spiked Kim recently
In the aftermath of Will’s death, Kim has been left heartbroken, meanwhile, Will’s daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley) was adamant Kim had something to do with his death.
And this week, she resorted to desperate measures, drugging Kim in the hopes she would reveal all. Unfortunately, Kim suffered a seizure and was rushed to hospital.
She managed to survive – and much to the shock of fans, Kim didn’t share the truth behind the spiking to police, insisting that she forgives Dawn and wants to move forward.
Fans think Kim is ‘playing’ Dawn

Now, fans are convinced Kim is lying to Dawn and is planning her revenge. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person wrote: “Kim definitely has something up her sleeve.”
Someone else penned: “Yes she’s playing her and will get her well-deserved revenge on Dawn eventually, because nothing works quickly in soaps.” A third agreed: “Be careful Dawn, Kim is up to something and it will come out soon.”
Other fans think she knows about Dawn’s secret kiss earlier this week and will use it to expose her husband Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle). One person declared: “Kim so knows about Dawn and Joe! Watch her use this to her advantage! Bye Dawn!”
