Emmerdale fans are convinced there’s a steamy affair at the start of 2025 which will destroy a family in the village.
During the New Year’s Day edition of Emmerdale, viewers saw the frantic search for missing teenager April continue. Although, it saw some revelations which many wouldn’t have expected.
One being that April fled the village partially because she believed her father Marlon was having an affair with Laurel. Confronted by the notion, Marlon snapped: “I have already told you I never had an affair with my ex.”
Later Marlon visited Laurel to discuss some texts between the two. He said: “I want my daughter home, Laurel, whatever the cost.” Many Emmerdale fans took to X to air their theories after watching the latest installment of the ITV soap.
We saw @RyanTheSoapking post: “OMG so have Laurel and Marlon had an affair #Emmerdale.” While @tamlizann25 added: “Did Laurel get drunk and make a move on Marlon?”
