Emmerdale fans are convinced April Windsor has already returned to the Dales.
The teenager (Amelia Flanagan) has been missing since Christmas Day – with April last seen getting in a strange car driven by a mysterious individual.
April’s disappearance came following a difficult few weeks in the Dales. Not only was she abducted by dangerous Jade (Twinnie-Lee Moore ), but April also found out the truth about her mum Donna’s (Verity Rushworth) death in 2014.
April then turned to booze and drugs and clashed with her dad Marlon (Mark Charnock) – before going missing. Since then, Marlon has been left reeling, determined to try and find out where April is, along with the rest of the village.

This week though, CCTV video showing a possible sighting of April running across a street in Leeds was revealed to her family. In Tuesday’s episode (January 14) Marlon headed to Leeds to hand out leaflets about April.
He later saw a girl who looked like April on the streets and ran after her. However, it wasn’t April – but to his surprise, he ran into Ross Barton (Michael Parr).

The pair put their differences aside and decided to work together to look for April. Before leaving, the two put up more flyers and as the camera panned out, it showed a wall of flyers, appealing for information on several missing people.
However, in what would be a game-changing twist viewers are certain that April has already returned and was right near her dad.
Fans ‘spotted April’ out in Leeds
“That camera shot where Marlon and Ross stood putting the poster up. Anyone else think April was the other side of it,” said one person on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page. Someone else agreed and claimed that April was just a few feet away from her worried father.
The viewer wrote: “I think it was her that walked past.” A third chimed in: “I thought that too.” Another person then proclaimed: “I thought the very same thing!” Echoing their thoughts, someone else penned: “Saw someone running past very quickly, wonder if it was April!”
