Thursday, January 9, saw minus 7C overnight in some parts of the city which led to icy conditions.
Ice skaters even mesmerised onlookers and the native swans of Inverleith Park in Stockbridge over the weekend as the local pond froze.

Unfortunately, higher temperatures will not mean better conditions in terms of wind and rain, despite Monday, January 13, seeing highs of 11C, gusty winds and rain are expected throughout most of the day.
