An Edinburgh driver has been arrested after a collision in the city.
The incident happened at around 8.50pm on Tuesday evening on Station Road in Kirkliston. It involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.
A 48-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is not currently known.

The motorist, 27, was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence. Police say enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 8.50pm on Tuesday, 14 January, to a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Station Road in Kirkliston.
“Emergency services attended and a 48-year-old man, the pedestrian, was taken to hospital for treatment.

“The driver, a 27-year-old man, was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence and enquiries are ongoing.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
