The Met Office has issued a fresh yellow weather warning for snow this coming weekend.
A warning will be in place from noon of Saturday January 4 until 9am on Monday January 6.
Forecasters predict the capital will see highs of three degrees throughout Saturday with sleet due to land at around 1am on Sunday 5.
Sleet and snow showers could fall throughout Sunday and into the morning of Monday 6.
Temperatures are expected to plummet into Monday with the start of the week bringing further freezing weather.

A yellow weather warning has been in place for the entirety of New Year’s Day and the beginning of January 2 for ice after the central belt was hit with wintry showers.
A statement by the Met office advises: “Starts: 12pm on Sat January 4 Ends: 09:00 GMT on Mon January 6.
“Heavy snow may cause some disruption over the weekend
“There is a chance of travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles and passengers, along with delayed or cancelled rail and air travel.

“There is a slight chance that some rural communities could become cut off.
“There is a small chance that power cuts will occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected.”
