A home in East Belfast was ransacked during a burglary on New Year’s Eve.
Entry was gained to a house in the Grand Parade area sometime between 9.40am and 1.45pm on Tuesday, December 31.
Police said it is unclear if anything was taken during the burglary, but a number of rooms were ransacked during the incident.

Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: “Sometime between 9:40am and 1:45pm on Tuesday 31st December, it was reported that entry had been gained to a house in the area. It is unclear if anything was taken at this stage, but a number of rooms upstairs were ransacked during the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and police would appeal to anyone with any information or CCTV footage, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 820 31/12/24.
