Auditions for Disneyland Paris are set to take place in Dublin next month.
The auditions are searching for a number of roles and will take place on Monday, February 10. Roles include Disney character look-alikes, Disney character performers and parade performers.
Character and parade performers are expected to be of a high energy level, have a full range of motions with their bodies, and good coordination. To be a parade performer, it is required to have solid dance and/or acting skills through significant training and/or stage experiences.
The application states: “If you are drawn to the artistic world, your experience in animation, dance or acting could enable you to be part of our magical experiences for our guests and help make their dreams become reality.”
Auditions will take place in the Liffey Trust studios at 117-126 Upper Sheriff Street on North Dock. They will take place at 10am with a Disneyland Paris representative present from 9.30am.
Auditionees should wear comfortable clothing and face masks are optional. Those who arrive early will be asked to wait outside by the audition team and anyone accompanying you will also be asked to wait outside.
Contract types include short term, with a minimum of four months, or open-ended contracts. Successful candidates can begin within six months of the audition.
Candidates must be 18 years old as it can include some night work and is under French law. Housing options are also available for those applying from outside France.
