Desperate search for woman as freezing snow wall moves in

Police have issued an urgent appeal to trace a woman who has gone missing from the Black Country. Anyone who sees her is asked to call 999.

The woman, whose name is Cheryl, has gone missing from the Dudley area. The 53-year-old was last seen at around 5.30pm yesterday on Thursday, January 2. She was seen wearing a green tracksuit top and bottoms.

She is described as white, female, of medium build, with long dark hair in a pony tail. West Midlands Police has urged anyone who sees Cheryl to contact police immediately.

Members of the public have been asked to call 999, quoting log number 53-030125. In a statement issued on social media, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Have you seen Cheryl, aged 53, who’s missing from Dudley?

” Cheryl was last seen 1730 hrs 2nd January 2025, wearing a green tracksuit top & bottoms. Cheryl is an IC1 female, medium build, long dark hair in a ponytail. Call 999 if you see Cheryl, quoting log 53-030125.”
