(nee Farmery, formerly Rogers) Anne Beckett (nee Farmery, formerly Rogers) lived a beautiful, dignified life. A discerning woman with a strength of character that remained until her final hours. Anne passed away after a short illness in which she maintained her poise and her unwavering principles, on 12th December 2024 surrounded by her children and husband. She was adored by her soulmate Gordon and her 7 children Paul, Andrew, Jane, Helen, Mary, Sarah and Clare. She will also be greatly missed by her 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and her little dog Boo. A celebration of life and Requiem Mass for Anne will take place on Friday 3rd January 2025 at 10:30am, St. Mary’s Church, Heneage Road, Grimsby, followed by a private burial at Woodlands Cemetery. Those wishing to pay their respects and celebrate Anne’s life are welcomed at the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to NE Lincs Downs Syndrome Family Support Group registered charity (1154260) would be gratefully received. (Barnes) Passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her daughter on the 10th of December 2024, aged 90 years. Daughter of the late Alexander and the late Elsie, loving and devoted mother of Carol, beloved sister of the late Colin, sister in law of the late Val, auntie and friend to many and will be so very sadly missed. (Mal) Peacefully whilst at home, Mal passed away on the 4th December 2024 aged 67 years. Devoted Husband of Jackie, loving Dad to Cheryl, Michael and Tom. Father-in-law to Alan and Oana. It is with deep sadness that the family announce that on Friday 13th December 2024 after a long fight Veronica passed away peacefully whilst at her home in Scartho surrounded by her loving family aged 73 years. Veronica was the adored Wife of Keith, a devoted Mum of Helen and Rachael and a beloved Mother-in-Law of Mathew. Veronica was also the much-loved Gran to Jessica, Lewis, Henry, Phoebe and Hermione, a precious Sister of John and Mervyn, a dear Aunt and a Friend to all. Veronica will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. A service to celebrate Veronica’s life will take place on Thursday 2nd January 2025 at 1:30 pm at Grimsby Crematorium. Veronica loved colour so the family have asked if mourners could wear a splash of either Red or Blue in Veronica’s memory. (Joe) Died peacefully on the 15th December 2024 at Lincoln County Hospital, Joseph (Joe) McCann aged 85. Beloved Brother, Uncle, Great Uncle, Great great Uncle and good Friend to many. (Neé Whitehead) Sadly and unexpectedly but peacefully, Susan (Sue) passed away at Scunthorpe General Hospital surrounded by her family on 15th December 2024 aged 68 years. A much loved partner to David and a proud and loving mum of her children, Sarah and Georgina. She was a cherished sister to Carol and Lesley and mother-in-law to Leon and Dave. Susan was a great friend to many and is now reunited with her beloved parents, George and Irene. Sue will be sadly missed. A service will take place on Friday 10th January 2025 at St John The Evangelist Church, Brigg at 1-30pm followed by the committal at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe at 2-40pm. It is a celebration of Susan’s life and we ask for anyone attending to dress for Sue. Family flowers only by request. (Woodsy) It is with great sadness to announce that Steven aged 41 years passed away unexpectedly on 16th December 2024 with his loving parents by his side. Much loved son of Peter and Karen, dear brother to John and David, brother-in-law to Vicky and Lisa. Much loved grandson to Ciggy and Sue and the late Madge, Jack and April.
