A Coventry school has revealed a big change for its old caretaker’s bungalow. According to a planning application the old house at President Kennedy School and Community College has not been used since 2021.
Now the school wants to change the use of the building and has applied for permission to do so. It wants to use the building for administration offices and storage space.
But it needs the official go-ahead to change the use from what is classed as a dwelling to a learning and non residential building. This proposal including designs for the new look offices are included within a planning application.

This has been submitted to the city council. A decision is set to be made on the proposal for new office space by February 20.
Anyone who would like to look at the plans should visit the council’s website and search in the planning section for reference PL/2024/0002341/FUL.
The change to the caretaker’s bungalow comes after the school demolished its unsafe swimming pool back in the summer.
