Two lucky Cork players have won six-figure prizes in the National Lottery’s special New Year’s draw.
Lotto bosses revealed the purchase locations of the winning tickets this morning, and two Cork players bagged prizes of €100,000 while another player in Meath took home the grand prize of €1 million.
Players won a combined €6.3 million, split between the €1 million jackpot, 6 €100,000 prizes, 15 €10,000 prizes, 45 €5,000 prizes, 302 €1,000 prizes, and 8,131 €500 prizes.
The winning millionaire raffle number was 467908. The winning raffle numbers for the €100k draws are: 146954, 151605, 229993, 324384, 411505 and 518351. You can find the full list of all 8,500 winning raffle numbers here.
Here in Cork, one of the winning tickets was sold online, while the other was sold from the Centra on Shandon Street in Cork City.
Emma Monaghan from the National Lottery said: “We are appealing to all our players who had a ticket for last night’s New Year’s Eve Millionaire Raffle draw to check their tickets carefully today.
“If you were one of the biggest winners of the night who won the €1 million and €100,000 prizes, sign the back of your ticket and contact the National Lottery Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for the prize to be claimed.”
Winners now have 90 days to claim their prize from Lotto chiefs before they turn the winnings over to promote the National Lottery, which in turn will increase the funds raised for good causes.
