The residents who were evacuated from their homes after a fire broke out within a flat in Clydebank have now returned to their properties.
The blaze ripped through a flat at Burnside Court on Scott Street in Clydebank at around 2.50pm on Friday, January 10.
A woman was taken to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a “precaution”, with five others checked at the scene for smoke inhalation.
Police Scotland has confirmed that the fire is not thought to be wilful and all evacuated residents have returned to their homes.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.50pm on Friday, 10 January, 2024 we were made aware of a fire at a flat at Burnside Court on Scott Street, Clydebank.
“Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
“Five people were checked at the scene for smoke inhalation and a woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a precaution.
“The fire is not thought to have been wilful and the residents have returned to their properties.”
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been approached for comment.
