Closing down signs go up in Trespass’ Middlesbrough store less than two years after opening

Closing downs have gone up at an outdoor clothing store in Middlesbrough.

Less than two years ago, Trespass opened in the Hillstreet Shopping Centre ’s former Monsoon site, which was closed in June 2020 . But as Teesside shoppers perused the shops for January bargains, huge yellow and black ‘closing down everything must go signs’ were spotted in windows of the Trespass store.

Inside the store there were rails of discounted clothes and sale signs on many rows of clothes. It is not clear when the store will close its doors for good.

Trespass has over 160 stores in the UK and specialises in clothing for skiers, snowboarders, hikers, campers and other outdoor adventurers. The brand currently only has one store locally in Darlington, with other nearby locations including Dalton Park and Harrogate.

Teesside Live has contacted Trespass for more information.
