A woman was left injured following a two-car crash in Coventry. It happened on Stoney Stanton Road.
Firefighters from Coventry and Foleshill were dispatched to the incident at around 6.35pm on Sunday (December 29). Crews found that two cars had been involved in a collision and were badly damaged.
A woman, who was the driver of one of the cars, was found to have sustained minor injuries. A man, who was the driver of the second vehicle, was uninjured.

Stoney Stanton Road was closed off while the damaged cars were recovered. It reopened at around 7.25pm.

In a statement issued today (December 31), West Midlands Fire Service said: “We responded to Stoney Stanton Road in Coventry at around 6.35pm on Sunday, December 29.
“Crews from Coventry and Foleshill responded, the first arriving within three minutes of being mobilised. It was a collision between two cars on the road.
“A person from each vehicle freed themselves before we arrived. A male driver was unhurt, while a female driver waited at a nearby address for paramedics to arrive.
“Stoney Stanton Road was closed for a time while the cars were recovered. We left the scene at 7.24pm.”
