Call 999 immediately if you see missing girl, 13, who ‘travelled to Greater Manchester’

People are being urged to dial 999 immediately if they see a missing teenager who is believed to have travelled from Devon to Greater Manchester. Police are urging people to look out for 13-year-old Kayleigh Forte.

Officers believe that the schoolgirl from Dawlish, on the south Devon coast, travelled around 250 miles north to Manchester. She is also known to have links to Oldham.

Kayleigh was last seen in Dawlish at around 4pm on Saturday (December 28). She is described as being white, of medium build and 5ft 3ins tall.

She has long, dark brown hair, and was last seen wearing a hat, a hoodie and tracksuit bottoms. Devon and Cornwall Police released two photos alongside an urgent appeal to find Kayleigh on social media yesterday (Monday), with the force saying officers are ‘growing increasingly concerned’ for her welfare.
