Police released a CCTV image in relation to a burglary investigation at a hair salon in Taunton. Money and other professional items were taken during the break-in that happened in Livingston Way.
Bigwigs Hair Salon was broken into at around 10.35pm on Sunday, December 22, 2024. A window to the salon was smashed by the burglar to get into the property, police have said.
A till drawer containing money and other items including a boxed professional hairdryer were stolen. The man police would like to identify was pictured wearing a grey hooded top, a face covering and gloves.
He is described as white, short hair and of stocky build. He also wore dark trousers and black shoes with white soles.
Anyone who recognises the man pictured, or who has any information which may assist police is asked to call 101 quoting the reference number 5224408833.

A statement from Avon and Somerset Police said: “We’re issuing a CCTV image of a man we want to identify in connection with a burglary at a hair and beauty salon in Taunton.
“Bigwigs Hair Salon, in Livingston Way, was broken into just after 10.35pm on Sunday 22 December. The offender smashed a window to get inside. A till drawer containing cash, as well as other items, including a boxed Fransen Professional Nova X hairdryer, were stolen.
“The man in the image is described as white, with short hair, of stocky build, and he was wearing a grey hooded top, a face covering, dark trousers, black shoes with white soles, and gloves.
