A fun new restaurant and bar is set to open in just under two months inside Rayleigh’s former Barclays on the high street. Manzano Lounge, part of Loungers plc, will transform Rayleigh when it opens next month.
Manzano Lounge will be opening on the high street on February 12 – just in time for Valentine’s Day! Residents have expressed their delight at the new eatery, with some stating that it will be a great social space for the community.
Loungers plc, which is the owner of all 234 of the Lounges in England and Wales, will be employing some local people as part of the opening of its newest lounge. Manzano Lounge will be open all day, every day for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks.

The Loungers build and design team has transformed the site on the high street, in their unmistakable and unique style. Manzano Lounge will cater for all tastes throughout the day with a varied and innovative all-day menu – and tends to all allergies too, complete with a vegan menu and a gluten-free menu.
There are Lounges scattered across the county already, with one in Lakeside shopping centre and others in Clacton, Basildon and Billericay. The chain bar and restaurants are famous for their tapas, brunches and extensive cocktail menus, and are well-loved by locals.
With community and neighbourhood at its heart, Maggio Lounge strives to welcome locals looking for a space for regular catch ups, meetings and events in Rayleigh. Its all-day opening times mean that the new lounge will be perfect for any occasion!
