Bars and clubs in Hull to see in the New Year – with something for everyone

2025 is almost upon us, which means it’s time to see out 2024 in style.

A popular way to celebrate New Year’s is at bars, clubs and pubs – and it seems like Hull really does have something for everyone.

Whether you fancy a ball, rodeo or even just want to make sure you’re getting an early night, we’ve created a round-up so you can see all the best offerings around Hull to end the year.

FIREPIT

Beverley bar FIREPIT are hosting their New Year’s Eve Rodeo Bash – fitting given the popularity of country music in 2024. With a DJ starting from 8pm, beer pong and a reason to wear a cowboy hat, what’s not to love? Find out more here.

WELLY

Welly’s Big New Year Bash has three rooms offering varying music styles from ABBA to My Chemical Romance. The popular student club will be opening their doors from 10pm to ensure people are jolly for the countdown. Tickets can be found here.

Atik

A unique one for people who love a celebration, but also love an early night – Atik are hosting it’s daytime clubbers event once more. The club will have light shows, dancers and confetti cannons, taking place between 4pm and 8pm. Tickets range from £9.

Polar Bear

With NYE falling on a Tuesday this year, its only right to include Polar Bear. With its weekly ‘Sesh’ night every Tuesday, the three bands to see in the New Year are Niamh Bower, WENCH Viva Girl Riot and MAFTIN. And if that wasn’t enough, the afterparty DJ will see you through to 2:30am.

DoubleTree by Hilton

Something a bit more high end – the hotel is hosting a spectacular New Year’s Eve Ball full of food, dancing and entertainment. A four course meal including beetroot salmon gravlax, pan-roasted hake and a glass of bubbly upon entry – this is seeing 2025 in with style. Book here.

Fuel & Propaganda

The ‘All-Nighter’ is exactly what it says – a chance to party the whole night away. Going from 11pm all the way until 6am, the dual party between Fuel and Propaganda looks to be a wild one. Tickets can be found here.

Social

The Humber Street venue is entering 2025 by going back to the 80s with its Electric Dreams Night. With 80s music, vintage décor and an invitation to dress-up, you’ll feel like you’ve gone back decades. Tickets can be found here.
