A family’s horse has been allegedly killed by an arson gang after their stud farm was subjected to a number of attacks in Galway.
The attacks involved a number of reported arson attempts on the Horan stud farm in Claregalway with disturbing video footage shared of the incidents.
The clips show shocking scenes of firestarting thugs target the farm late on New Year’s Eve with the aftermath leaving it in ruins.
One part of the video shows a horse lying dead in a part of the stable, while other parts of the video show the fire having burned through much of the building.
The video, shared by the farm on social media, is captioned: “This does contain sensitive images, so please be aware.
“Please share this and tag any news outlets or anyone you think can help get more light on this to encourage the garda to put more man power and urgency on this ongoing case.
“This is the third fire in 14 months and the 2nd fire in 8 weeks.”
Meanwhile a fundraiser has been started on GoFundMe following the attacks in attempt to get the stud farm back off the ground.
The GoFundMe reads: “Hi. We are trying to help a family that has been subject to a number of arson attacks on their stud farm in County Galway, Ireland.
