Appeal for witnesses to Epsom assault after man ‘acting suspiciously’

Police are appealing for witnesses to a assault in Surrey after a man was ‘acting suspiciously’. Surrey Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forwards.

Officers say the assault took place on Friday, December 27 at around 7.20pm, where a man was assaulted “by an unknown man after he asked him why he was acting suspiciously”.

Following the incident in Kinross Avenue, Epsom, which took place a short walk from Worcester Park train station, the suspect is said to have fled the scene on a white bicycle.

Surrey Police described the suspect as a man with a small moustache, around 20 years old. He is approximately 6ft tall and was described as being of dual-heritage. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a green hoodie and had much of his face covered.
