The model turned podcast star revealed the one guest who had her in tears
Abbey Clancy spoke about her favourite guest on the most recent The Therapy Crouch podcast
Abbey Clancy revealed who her favourite ever guest was to interview. Appearing on the latest episode of The Crouch Therapy, next to husband and former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch, the model turned podcast star was asked by a listener who her favourite guest.
In the episode she co-hosts, which aired on January 9, she said: “I’ve had so many incredible guests. I think Jo Malone is probably one of my favourites. I recorded with Jo before Christmas, she was my last pod of the series and the two of us were just in tears and she was just incredibly inspiring.
“She’s overcome so much, you know, she lost and started again from scratch. She’s like one of the most famous names on the planet.”
The episode she refers to is her most recently launched podcast, Exhibit A, where Abbey hosts different guests each episode to speak honestly and openly about their lives. She has also used the platform to openly discuss her own struggles with anxiety.
Earlier in the episode, the 39-year-old opened up about her anxiety and how it affects her life. She said: “Anxiety is a horrendous thing, it’s such a hinderance to have and people who don’t have it don’t understand. It’s horrible.” She continued to discuss how it affected her while on a recent holiday.
The Liverpool-born mum-of-four said: “We had to drive over these mountains and cross borders and I literally thought I was going to throw up and faint and I just could not stop, could I? To the point where my two little boys were hugging me, saying ‘mum, it’s okay’, which is so unfair for them.”
Abbey explained on the podcast, while sat next to her 43-year-old husband, how she woke up the morning they recorded the episode with the “worst butterflies” in her stomach as a result of her anxiety. The model turned podcast star has been open about her mental health struggles.
