As the cold snap continues throughout Leeds, scores of schools have had to remain closed or stagger their opening times to operate safely.
Throughout this week, schools have been thrown into turmoil by the bad weather. Below is a list of the schools affected throughout today, Friday, January 10. In Leeds, the weather is forecast to rise to 3C but dip to -3C, according to the Met Office.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice along the coast of Yorkshire but temperatures in Leeds remain very cold and the snow has turned into packed ice in places.
