12 big name Yorkshire gigs, theatre shows and events to look forward to in January

A new year is here and there’s lots of great events happening in Yorkshire.

In terms of music, we have The Magic Numbers and a night dedicated to Oasis to look forward to.

Elsewhere, some major touring shows are coming to Yorkshire. A highlight undoubtedly being when Strictly Come Dancing brings their arena tour to the region. While, we have the small matter of Bradford kicking off its status as City of Culture.

  • January 24 – Milton Jones – Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield
  • January 25 – The Magic Numbers – Foundry, Sheffield
  • January 28 to February 1 – Chicago – Sheffield Lyceum
  • January 28 to March 25 – Hamilton – The Alhambra Theatre, Braford
  • January 29 – The Rifles – Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
  • January 30 and 31 – Strictly Come Dancing – Live Tour – Leeds First Direct Arena
  • January 31 – Definitely Oasis – The Wardrobe, Leeds
